Rapids, and The Art of Provocation

I would soooo love to write a bright and breezy missive of that love light hope thing I used to be able to spew out easily enough, and which I see others providing. You know, that copiously encouraging prose stating how so very much we are loved by our guides and angels and The God him/herself. But ... nope, I ain't got none of that in here. I used it all up in my christian days.
